I can assess, research, map, and generate insight into IT systems, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and business processes. My work has resulted in the governance process for high-performance systems looking to reach a 99.99% availability rate. I worked on the back-end services delivering information to the Disney Magic Bands, and ecommerce systems for Nordstrom.com and Expedia.com. My work has resulted in cost savings. At Iron Mountain, the process analysis for an internal procedure resulted in the annual recovery of more than forty thousand dollars.
My experience:
I have a certificate in Business Analysis from the University of Washington, and have performed technical projects for Disney Interactive, Nordstrom.com, The Apollo Group, and other companies. I have produced social media analysis, reports, visualizations, and presentations for Fortune 200 companies such as Dell, Microsoft, and Sprint. I’ve performed data mining, text mining, and knowledge extraction in order to characterize consumer generated sentiment and influencers in social networks for leading brands. I’ve also developed and documented in-house software tools. Social media includes blogs, Web forums, and sites featuring user-generated content such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, and Yahoo! Answers.
Experience includes:
- Systems Analysis
Created an automated knowledge base producing UML diagrams from environmental monitors and code reflectors. Created the framework for establishing a Service Catalog and set of governed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs). - Analysis
I assessed the study design, quality of data collection, and prepared data for reporting. I am familiar with data mining techniques and social network analysis and network mapping. - Report Creation
